brands with something to say.
Photography for brands built around people, place, movement and experience.
Beautiful isn't enough.
Crude but true.
Your audience doesn't need another photograph of someone wearing a jacket on a mountain. They need to feel the cold. The wind. The freedom. The pull to get outside.
That's what I'm interested in.
Creating imagery that doesn't just show what a brand does, but makes people feel something about it.
I work with outdoor, lifestyle, adventure and human-centred brands to create imagery with energy, emotion and purpose.
An artist's eye. A strategic mind.
I trained in Fine Art and spent the last two decades working in marketing — across brand, content, SEO and creative direction.
So I don't arrive at a shoot thinking only about the photograph. I think about the brand behind it.
The audience.
The story.
The message.
The feeling.
Where the imagery will live.
What it needs to do.
Then I pick up the camera.

In the water.
Some stories belong in the water.
I also shoot in and around the water using a waterproof housing — creating campaign and content imagery for surf, swim, sailing, adventure, travel and lifestyle brands.

From idea to image.
You might come to me with a fully formed creative brief.
Or you might have a half-formed idea scribbled in the notes app.
Either is fine.
I'll help shape the thinking, find the story, work out what we need and make the shoot happen.
Location. People. Casting. Creative direction. Shot lists. Logistics. The unexpected stuff.
And then, of course, the photographs.
I like being involved.
Working together.
Every brief is different, so I quote based on the scope, creative requirements, usage and deliverables.
Commercial photography pricing can legitimately vary based on usage, licensing, production, location, number of shoot days, crew, casting, travel etc.
Based in Devon, working across the South West and internationally.
So a bespoke quote makes sense. Let's chat!

Have a good brief?

Or a half formed idea? Even better.
